IPC WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

“By staging this Championships you have made the impossible possible. You organized an event that you can be rightly proud of and an event that we were equally proud to be part of. The festive atmosphere at this historical venue, with the public chanting and supporting their favourite athletes helped the athletes give their best”
Andrew Parsons, IPC’s President

For the first time in history, the World Para-swimming and Para-powerlifting Championships were held at the same venue. From December 2 to 8, 2017 the Olympic Complex, ‘Francisco Márquez’ Pool and ‘Juan de la Barrera’ in Mexico City hosted this great event.
